Here is some background to some of the key members of our team:

Eric Richardson is the company's Managing Director, a position he has held since 1995. A graduate of Glasgow University, Eric is a Chartered Accountant having worked in the UK and Canada. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and looks after commercial clients in a variety of industry sectors. |

Margaret Richardson is Company Secretary and, with Eric is co-owner of the business. Margaret is a Chartered Accountant and has responsibility for all Financial Administration. She is a Member of the Society of Financial Advisers and provides Financial Services through Boyd & Co Financial Services LLP. |

John McLaughlin is a Commercial Director. He joined Boyd & Company in 1994 following 22 years with Norwich Union. John is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has considerable experience of commercial insurance with particular emphasis on motor fleet and motor trade. |

Gary Kidd is a Senior Commercial Broker. He joined Boyd & Company in 2005 and has specifi c responsibility for business development. Gary has over 20 years experience of commercial insurance across a variety of business sectors having previously managed the Scottish operation of a large UK General Insurance Broker. |

Allan Whiteside is a Commerical Broker. He has over 30 years of insurance broking experience primarily with commercial clients specialising in the owner managed sector. Allan is also involved in new business quotations. |

Debbie Braidwood is a Commercial Broker involved in new business and marketing. Debbie has experience of a variety of industry sectors having previously worked with two National broking firms. |

Frances Skene is the company's Office Manager. Frances, who graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Strathclyde University, has worked with Boyd & Co for over 15 years. In addition to client responsibilities, Frances co-ordinates the company's personnel function and regulatory compliance. |
